A selection of pots from the last two firings.
The tenmoku I had to fire t twice as the gas ran out just as I started to reduce at about 1120c. I wonder if it has effected the glaze?
The green is a new recipe, quite runny and appears to be a lower firing glaze, very pretty. The greenie blue glaze is a PCA recipe based around cornish stone, it makes a very good lining glaze which I will use on the teapots.
I worked on my reduction technique, which I think is improving, longer, deeper, bolder.
Happy potting, I think I’m making progress.
